That store wasn’t too expensive to shop at. We were wondering, though, who would go there to buy clothing, e.g., that far off the beaten path „in the boonies“ in such a small community.

Gern geschehen, liebe Martina! Der hier gezeigte Teil ist aber natuerlich Museum, und nicht Geschaeft. Der eigentliche Laden liegt dahinter und ist im Angebot und in den Raeumlichkeiten modern.

Lustig sieht der aus, nicht wahr? 😉
Dabei faellt mir zur Zeit immer Pinocchio ein, und die Tatsache, dass eine unserer grossen amerikanischen Tageszeitungen fuer Unwahrheiten/Luegen (in der Politik) Pinocchios vergibt – von einem bis fuenf, je nachdem wie krass gelogen wurde. Du kannst Dir ja denken, wer da im Sammeln von Pinocchios der „Gueteklassen“ vier und fuenf auf dem ersten Platz liegt!

Well, the stuff one could have spent money on was not antique: those were not for sale. They did sell a good cheese there, and clotes etc., but we didn’t buy anything.
