Trumpet Vine & Bee

When I took my pictures of our Trumpet Vine yesterday, there were lots of bees humming around, getting into the blossoms to feed on the nectar. This one here just came crawling out of a blossom :

Als ich gestern Aufnahmen unseres Trumpet Vine gemacht habe, war es ein einziges Summen und Brummen von Bienen, die in den Blüten auf Suche nach Nektar gingen. Diese hier kam gerade heraus aus einer Blüte:

    ja, die Biene ist natürlich sehr gut getroffen!
    Ich mag alle drei Fotos der Trompetenblume 🙂
    Hier in Berlin ist das Wetter sehr sonnig und ich werde heute Geranien auf meinem Balkon pflanzen.

    1. Hallo Susanne,
      es faellt mir schwer, mich bei den Fotos fuer ein einziges zu entscheiden. Deswegen kommen wohl auch noch mehr davon. Mal sehen.
      Hier haben wir gestern und heute etwas Regen gehabt, aber nicht genug. Ab Morgen soll es wieder sonnig werden.

  5. My friend in Kerrville has both these flowers and the bees. We sometimes amuse ourselves by just sitting and watching them — it’s quite entertaining. I hope your Easter was a fine one — did the barbeque go well?

    1. It’s so soothing to sit and listen to the bees humming, isn’t it?
      Easter was a fine one. As to the BBQ: I still have to learn. Things turned out nicely, and evereything is yummy. Only the ribs could have been in the smoker for a shorter time. I’ll soon write about that in my other blog.
