Der Leuchtturm auf dem Dach der Welt
On our trip along the Californian Coast from Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz we stopped and visited the Pigeon Point Lighthouse, where I experimented some with my diagonal fisheye lens, Here’s one of these pictures which I later worked over even more:
Auf unserer Fahrt die kalifornische Küste entlang von Half Moon Bay nach Santa Cruz haben wir auch am Pigeon Point Leuchtturm Halt gemacht, und da habe ich etwas mit meinem Diagonal-Fisheye Objektiv herumgespielt. Eines dieser Fotos, das ich später noch weiter verfremdet habe, ist dieses hier:

I keep wondering, if I would use a „real“ fisheye enough to justify the price. But this one, the diagonal fisheye, makes for interesting pictures, too.

Freut mich, liebe Hanne, dass Dir Foto und Titel gefallen. Mir ist zuerst der Titel in Englisch eingefallen, aber dann fand ich kein passendes Wort fuer „top“. „Gipfel“ ging nicht, weil es Berge assoziiert, und „Spitze“ ging auch nicht, weil es hier eben rund ist. Fand ich jedenfalls. Etwas Neutrales wie „top“ ist mir nicht eingefallen. „Dach“ kam noch am naechsten, passt aber – so finde ich jedenfalls – nicht 100-prozentig.

Freut mich, liebe Ulli, dass es Dir gefaellt. Zuerst habe ich es in Farbe etwas „dramatischer“ gerendert [EasyHDR, „dramatic strong“], und dann das in Schwarz-Weiss verwandelt. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich sehr zufrieden.
