  1. I’m so glad you got to see some of those magnificent birds. I’m still looking for sandhill cranes. I hear them from time to time, but they often feed in agricultural fields or other areas where they’re hidden from sight.

    1. I’m glad, too. Maybe one can really see them better from the water side, not only because then the sun is on one’s back but also because the boat takes you closer to them as the captains know where to find them. But then, as I know you, you will also know where to look for them. Good luck to you.
      We might be back in January, for Mary’s birthday. Hopefully she feel well then. She really didn’t that morning lately, with her trigeminal neuralgia having flared up.
