For this year, besides his once-a-month photo project „Food“, Roland [of the „Royusch Unterwegs“ blog] has started a weekly photo challenge. For this week the theme is „Art“. I would like to address this with a picture of petroglyphs, also known as „rock art“, from the Petroglyph National Monument near Albuquerque in New Mexico, one of the largest petroglyphs in North America, where we strolled around in 2018 on the occasion of our visit to the Balloon Fiesta:

Für dieses Jahr hat Roland [vom Blog „Royusch unterwegs“] neben seinem monatlichen Fotoprojekt zum Thema „Nahrung“ auch eine wöchentliche Fotochallenge ins Leben gerufen. Für diese Woche ist das Thema „Kunst“. Daran möchte ich mich mit einem Bild von Petroglyphen, auch als „Rock Art“ bezeichnet, aus dem Petroglyph National Monument nahe Albuquerque in Neu Mexiko, einer der größten Fundstellen von Petroglyphen in Nordamerika, wo wir uns 2018 anlässlich unseres Besuchs der Balloon-Fiesta in Albuquerque umgesehen haben, beteiligen:
