Here’s another picture of the Rio Grande between Presidio and Lajitas. This time it shows there really IS water in it and not rocks only:

Well, actually, with all the water they draw off of it upstream for irrigation, it doesn’t look that grand at all here. But it IS still a gorgeous sight:

Contrabando is a ghost town and an abandoned movie site on the Rio Grande within the Big Bend Ranch State Park, 9.5 miles west of the town of Lajitas/TX.
