On our trip along the Californian Coast from Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz we stopped and visited the Pigeon Point Lighthouse, where I experimented some with my diagonal fisheye lens, Here’s one of these pictures which I later worked over even more:
Auf unserer Fahrt die kalifornische Küste entlang von Half Moon Bay nach Santa Cruz haben wir auch am Pigeon Point Leuchtturm Halt gemacht, und da habe ich etwas mit meinem Diagonal-Fisheye Objektiv herumgespielt. Eines dieser Fotos, das ich später noch weiter verfremdet habe, ist dieses hier:
Photo Project #16: Black & White
On his blog, „Mannis Fotobude„, Manni has again called for participation in another, this time the sixteenth, photo project of his. This time the subject is Black & White“. I’ve always thought that steel bridges with their structures lend themselves quite nicely to rendrings in black and white. Here now is my contribution to Manni’s project, a picture of the Big River Crossing Bridge across the Mississippi in Memphis/TN:

Auf seinem Blog „Mannis Fotobude“ hat Manni einmal mehr zur Teilnahme an einem weiteren, seinem sechzehnten, Fotoprojekt aufgerufen, dieses Mal zum Thema „Schwarz/Weiß“. Ich war schon immer der meinung, dass sich stählerne Brücken mit ihren Strukturen ganz besonders für die Wiedergabe in Schwarz/Weiß eignen. Hier ist nun mein Beitrag zu dem Thema, ein Bild der Big River Crossing Brücke über den Mississippi in Memphis/Tennessee:
