On our recent trip to San Angelo I accidentally and without realizing it I changed the white balance of my „big“ Nikon D500 from „Auto1“ [which is the normal/default setting] to „incandescent“ and before I realized it, a total of 171 pictures had gotten a totally blue hue. Luckily, Nikon has programme [NX Studio] to fix that with the push of a button, and even more luckily for me, that can be done in a batch process. So I didn’t have to do the tedious work of correcting every single picture one by one. Well, here’s a comparison of one and the same picture before and after the correction:

Auf unserer letzten Kurzreise, nach San Angelo, habe ich versehentlich und ohne es zu merken, den Weißabgleich meiner „großen“ Nikon D500 verstellt, von „Auto1“, dem normalen Vorgabewert, zu „incandescent“ [für Aufnahmen unter Glühlampenlicht], und ehe ich das bemerkt habe, waren ganze 171 Aufnahmen total blaustichig. Zum Glück hat Nikon ein Korrekturprogramm [NX Studio] dafür, mit dem man das auf Knopfdruck korrigieren kann, und zu meinem noch größeren Glück geht das sogar per Stapelverarbeitung. So brauchte ich dann eben nicht die langwierige Korrektur eines jeden einzelnen Bilds vorzunehmen. Hier ist nun ein Vergleich ein und desselben Bilds vor und nach der Korrektur:
Move the slider to the left and right to compare both versions. – Den Schieber nach rechts bzw. links bewegen, um beide Versionen zu vergleichen.
So now at least this is no longer in the way of me writing about that trip.
So steht nun wenigstens das mir nicht mehr im Wege den Bericht ueber diese Kurzreise zu schreiben.
