…is what Santa Fe is usually pictured as in one’s imagination, and rightly so. But on one of my walks I also discovered this:

The terrain, area and views from our accommodation, „The Kelly Place“ near Cortez, Colorado, were simply stunning, and also quite suitable for lensball photography. Here is a selection of them, taken directly in front of our holiday cabin:

This is the largest of the rock houses at the Cliff Dwellers‘ Houses in Marble Canyon off Highway 89A in Arizona. I don’t believe, though, that it would be quite our choice – not even with the impressive „Balanced Rock“ next to it. Here’s another view:

Dies ist das größte der Felsenhäuser von den „Cliff Dwellers‘ Houses“ im Marble Canyon am Highway 89A in Arizona. Ich glaube aber nicht, dass es so ganz unsere Wahl sein würde, noch nicht einmal mit dem faszinierenden „Balanced Rock“ direkt daneben. Hier ist noch eine Ansicht:
