A very nice shot, Pit! We see these egrets during the summer, in a nature refuge/marshland near my hometown, I always wonder how they keep so clean-looking walking around a marsh all day!
Yep. It’s a Great Egret (Ardea alba). Black legs, yellow bill, and larger than the Snowy Egret. As we approach the breeding season, the skin around the eyes will turn a sort of neon green, and it will develop long breeding plumes.
